[In the near future, more than 90 percent of the bookstores' top 100 bestsellers will be filled with hoarding books]

Book hoarding is gradually evolving into a corporate type. For example, if a reader purchases a book and offers to post a reader's review, the publisher sends the reader the price of the book. The publisher pays a fee of 7,000 won per copy to the company that acts as an agent for this task. It is only possible if the reader's database is secured in order to quickly secure more than 1,000 readers who participate in this task. Companies that have already done this steadily are now confident and attract new participating publishers to the branch organization. I guarantee that this will not be a problem for hesitant publisher representatives or marketers.

Bookstores are also supporting companies that hoard. How cute would it be to have publishers that "purchase" 1,000 copies a week in this recession? That's why we give them all the preferential treatment. Publishers lower the stock price and participate in advertisements. They also buy offline shelves. Maybe bookstores treat them like emperors. They ask publisher marketers who hoard, "They will exclude 1,000 copies." They check their willingness to hoard. They will use up all the books they have in stock at the beginning, so what should they be afraid of!

Books are sold slowly and gradually. When a reader learns about a new book, he or she buys it after much consideration. According to AIDMA's law, which informs users of their psychology, when consumers see an advertisement, they "attention, interest, and desire the product name again, memory the product name, and eventually buy it." It takes a certain amount of time for a book to make such a process. Unless it is a book that creates a big buzz, it will not be on the top of the bestseller list as soon as the book is published. Even so, it is impossible unless it is hoarding that a sloppy book can instantly become the top overall bestseller list even by changing the title of a book that was published in the past.

There are more and more companies that help hoarding. Some companies are already notorious in the publishing industry. They have a DB for readers who want to receive books for free. Readers can get as many new books for free with the support of these companies and publishers. If you don't like the book that arrived, you can resell the book second-hand to an online bookstore. If readers join in hoarding books, they can even make money. Bookstores know this structure too well. If it is confirmed that only one bookstore is hoarding, complain to the publisher marketer, "Why aren't we taking it out!" Thanks to this, all bookstores' best-selling lists resemble fish-shaped buns.

A publishing company is increasing its imprint (affiliated affiliates) one by one, increasing the number of books it is hoarding. The more confidence it has in publishing a bestseller, the lower the quality of its books become. Seeing that more and more sections are being re-published, their confidence seems to soar. Of course, they are good at camouflage as well. They execute "fishing advertisements" while infringing on the portrait and copyright of popular celebrities. By closely cooperating with popular YouTuber channels, they are also gaining popularity. Thanks to this, half of the books published by hoarding publishers seem to be in the bestseller list. Books from famous publishers are already hard to find. If countermeasures are not taken quickly, 90 percent of all bestsellers will be filled with hoarding books. If this situation continues to worsen and build positive results, many readers will move away from the books.

Despite this serious situation, the Publishing Distribution Deliberation Committee is unwilling to resolve this situation. Experienced marketers were aware of this situation. So the leaders of the Distribution Deliberation Committee must be very aware of the situation. They are known to excuse that it is not easy to be caught because they are so skillful in hoarding, even though they know it is a serious situation. When I sent an official document to the publisher that the committee was currently closed, I warned him/her, "Since we believe that hoarding is being carried out in various ways to enter a new book's bestseller, the publisher should never engage in such a similar manner as above."

Probably, hoarding publishers and their suppliers took this warning as an encouragement to work harder. Now that the rain shower has passed, they will focus more on hoarding, believing that the sunny day will last longer. If the committee is to sit on its hands like this, it should be disbanded immediately. The association of Korean publishers, which is actually leading the committee, should also be disbanded. They were bent on pursuing their own profits while serving as servants of the ministry. This organization used to be tight-lipped at important tasks. They are like poisonous mushrooms which ruin Korean publishing. The current committee needs to be completely dismantled and reorganized. This should be done quickly.
